Eerder vanmiddag onthulde La Gazzetta dello Sport de voorlopige Formule 1-kalender voor 2022. Een officiële bevestiging moest op dat moment nog komen. Inmiddels is de kalender door de Formule 1 zelf bevestigd, met maar liefst 23 races.
De officiële kalender is identiek aan de lijst die Gazetta uitbracht. Dat betekent 23 races in 2022, een recordaantal. Op de kalender staat oner andere een nieuwe Grand Prix in Miami. Ook keren we terug naar Australië, Canada, Singapore en Japan.
